TRACC V2.5 Winter 2026 Release

Find out what is new in TRACC including Public Transport Statistics, GTFS/TXC Tracks, OS Code-Point and Highways, and GB Census

We are excited to announce the release of TRACC V2.5, available as a free upgrade for all existing TRACC users. Please find a list below of New Features/Improvements:

OS Code-Point in DataCutter Integration

The OS Code-Point dataset is now available to download from the DataCutter integration within TRACC. Click here for more information on the postcode data from OS.

OS Highways in DataCutter Integration

OS Highways dataset is now available to download from the DataCutter integration within TRACC. This will require you to hold a PSGA licence in DataCutter.

GB Census in DataCutter Integration

GB/Scottish Census 2011 and 2021 (GB)/2022 (Scottish) from ONS is now available to download from the DataCutter integration within TRACC.

Public Transport Statistics

New tool to help generate detailed reports for public transport networks at a Stops, Route and Service Level. Information such as Average Speeds, Frequency, Route/Service Cost, Number of Trips/Routes and Average Trip Time, and Operators are included.

Retry Option in Batch Calculation Editor

Failed calculations can be retried without the need to create new calculations from scratch. By adding failed calculations back to the Queue, you can make the necessary changes before attempting to run them again.

Updated International Road Types in Road Network Importer

Additional road type options available in the road network importer to make it easier to match road links when using international datasets. Some of the new road types now being considered are Interstate Highway, Freeway and Busway.

Interchange Penalty Renamed

The Interchange Penalty parameter for Origin-Destination and Depart/Arrive calculations has been renamed to Minimum Wait Time to better reflect its purpose.

GTFS Shapes and TXC Tracks

Any routeline information that is supplied in the GTFS and TransXChange public transport data can now be imported via a manual import of the data or the DataCutter integration. These can be viewed on the map in the Route Information window after import. Not all services may have this information and won’t display a routeline if this is the case.

Fixes:

Stop Search in DRT

The stop search button when creating new DRT services now works again so you can select a single transport stop as the drop-off point.

User Profile Changes when Restoring Project Settings

When restoring backups with another user’s settings this was updating the default database location in the Database Settings to the sender’s user profile. A new warning is provided when you wish to restore projects with the sender’s settings.

Service Cost Auto-Updates when Routes Deleted

When routes are removed from a Service, the cost information will now auto-update to reflect such changes.

Time Reference in Demographic Data Reports for Distance

Data reports generated for a distance based result will appropriately reference a distance unit instead of time.
