TRACC V2.4 Summer 2025 Release

Find out what is new in TRACC including Stop Reachability Search, OSM Point of Interest, OS MRN importer, and Calculation Templates.

We are excited to announce the release of TRACC V2.4, available as a free upgrade for all existing TRACC users. Please find a list below of New Features/Improvements:

OSM Points of Interest in DataCutter Integration

The OpenStreetMap POI dataset is now available to download from the DataCutter integration within TRACC.

Stop Reachability Search

A new tool for the public transport network to help you find out what other stops you can get to within a defined travel time from a specific transport stop.

Stop Frequency Additions

New frequency options are available in the Stop Frequency Calculation where you can now generate the Average and Total frequencies of stops and services for a chosen public transport network.

Calculation Templates

Set up calculations using saved templates; a new option in the settings that will help you seamlessly run calculations with pre-populated inputs. Templates can be created, edited and deleted as required.

Updated Projections

An updated list of projections that can be used for international projects. Projection codes that may have been unavailable previously can now be used in TRACC.

OS MRN Importer

A standalone importer for Ordnance Survey’s Multi-Modal Routing Network data. This can be found in the Road Network tab so you can import in-house MRN data.

Improvements to PT&Road calculation times (Dijkstra)

Updates made to the Origin-Destination Public Transport & Road algorithm to help improve calculation times.

Fixes:

Error running Origin-Destination PT&Road

A fix for an error that would appear when specifically running an Origin-Destination PT&Road calculation with Enhanced Output selected.

Error when saving Stop Catchment

A fix for an error that occurred when saving the Stop Catchment output in the public transport network.

Error when viewing public transport service

Changes applied so when viewing a public transport service an error no longer appears.

Public transport journeys with interchanges

Improvements made to public transport journeys that include any number of interchanges.

Interacting with background map when using TXC

Solved an issue where an error would appear while interacting with the background map when TXC data was loaded.

TRACC can be downloaded from HERE. Please uninstall the existing version of TRACC first.
